Joshua Peters

In 2010, he graduated magna cum laude from Lincoln University, where he also became a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, The National Political Honor Society and served as President of the Student Government Association.
He served on the staff of United States Representative William Lacy Clay, Jr. for three years and then was appointed by President Barack Obama as a Confidential Assistant to the Under Secretary of Education Dr. Martha Kanter.
Joshua Peters serves as a local board member of the United States Selective Service System, and on the Board of Directors for People’s Community Action Corporation.
Joshua Peters currently a member of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis; Rotary International and Congressional Black Associates.

After the 2012 Missouri elections, there was an open seat in Missouri House District 76 in which Peters ran for and won on April 2, 2013.
